How do I sign up for Kamuzigo?

Click "Get Started", enter your Safaricom M-Pesa number and create a password. You'll receive a 6-digit verification code by SMS. Once verified, complete your profile and you're ready to post loads or start bidding.

Do I need an M-Pesa number to use Kamuzigo?

Yes. Kamuzigo uses M-Pesa for all payments — wallet top-ups, escrow funding, and withdrawals. A registered Safaricom number is required for transactions and is also your login identifier.

Is Kamuzigo available outside Kenya?

How do I post a load on Kamuzigo?

After signing in, go to "Post Load". Enter the pickup location, delivery location, item description, weight, vehicle type, budget, and declared item value. Once posted, verified drivers in your route area will start bidding immediately.

How does M-Pesa escrow payment work on Kamuzigo?

When you accept a bid and pay, funds move from your M-Pesa wallet into Kamuzigo's secure escrow. The driver sees the funds are locked. After your goods arrive and you enter the 6-digit delivery code, you have 3 days to confirm or raise a dispute. If all is well, escrow is released to the driver.

What should I do if my goods are damaged or lost?

Do not confirm delivery. Use the "Report Issue" button within 3 days of the delivery notification. Upload photos as evidence. Our team will investigate and if your claim is upheld, a full refund is issued to your wallet.

How do drivers get paid on Kamuzigo?

Once the shipper enters the delivery code confirming delivery, payment clears directly to the driver's M-Pesa within minutes. Kamuzigo charges zero commission to drivers — ever.
